Volunteering at AniMall

Now that AniMall is on a bit of solid ground, we are finally bringing back adoptable cats from our partner rescue groups to foster in our Cat Shack. We need volunteers to help care for the animals while they are in the store. If you haven’t volunteered before, we have 4-10 adoptable cats from multiple rescue groups in our Cat Shack, rotating every week.

So what does volunteering involve? We are looking for:

  • Morning volunteers (arrive between 9:30am and 11:00am) to feed, water, and clean the cat condos and free range room.
  • Evening volunteers (arrive between 5:00pm and 8:30pm) to feed, water, and clean the cat condos and free range room.

You can spend as much time as you want, but plan for an hour. And it goes without saying that playing with/socializing/petting the cats is appreciated … and a huge bonus!

Requirements for volunteering are simple:

  • Properly filled-out volunteer forms
  • Training on the proper care for the cats (multiple training sessions available per month – see calendar here)

Volunteering is as easy as 1 … 2 … that’s it!

1. Contact volunteer@animall.org to sign up for training classes.

2. Once you have completed the training you can sign up for “AniMall Cat Shack Volunteering” at: http://signup.com/go/kKTeaCi.
